NFL Week 9 Expert Picks

NFC North rivals do battle as the Vikings head to Detroit to take on the Lions. Minnesota is coming off a terrible loss to the Chargers with Carson Wentz going down with an injury. J.J. McCarthy is still listed as questionable but is expected to get the start with Max Brosmer serving as the backup. As for the Lions, they bounced back from a 30-17 loss to the Chiefs with a 24-9 win over the Buccaneers. Detroit still trails Green Bay in the division, and are top 12 in scoring, points allowed, passing and rushing.

Indianapolis Colts (7-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3)

The Colts have the best record in the NFL and are firmly in first place in the AFC South. While the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers are currently tops in the AFC North. The Steelers will be looking to bounce back after back to back losses against the Bengals and Packers. Pittsburgh is scoring and allowing 25 points per game and are ranked 19th in passing and 25th in rushing. The Colts are on a four game streak, ranked 1st in scoring and 6th in points allowed, passing yards and rushing yards. Despite everything, the BetQL computer has the Steelers as slight favorites at home.

Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) at Buffalo Bills (5-2)

After a rocky start to the season, the Chiefs have gone 4-1 in their last five games with 3 straight wins over Detroit, Las Vegas and Washington. The Bills have lost two of their last 3, but came back last week with a big 40-9 win against the Panthers. Buffalo is top 10 in scoring, points allowed and rushing this season, while K.C. is top 9 in passing, rushing, scoring and points allowed.
